What will the Brady-to-Gronk combo do in 2012? I don’t envy opposing defensive coordinators this year. There will be no simple solution to the well balanced foursome of Gronk, Hernando, Welker and Lloyd. Teams better have a plan for Gronk first and foremost because you can’t manufacture a scheme to stop him, you must get the players who can physically match up on him in the off-season. What teams do on Gronk should be one of the most interesting X and O factors in 2012, especially in the red zone. It might be hard for Gronk to put up the same amount of touchdowns but whether he’s catching them or someone else is, it still means he’ll be a big problem that needs to be addressed.
