Tom Brady 2011 Season – All 39 TD’s (by vcmoss81)
One good thing about the end of the 2011 season, no more of these stupid winter hats that make everyone look like they’re 12 years old.

ProFootballWeekly.com – Patriots could make run at Texans’ Williams
Now Mario Williams is a signing I could get behind… Pass rusher!!!!!
Bill Belichick is nothing if not opportunistic, and he knows that having one of the finest defensive talents potentially come free like this is a once-a-decade kind of thing he can’t afford to pass up. All the signs are there: The Patriots are in great shape, in terms of salary cap, and they have a defense that made strides down the stretch (16.3 points per game allowed in the postseason) but needs a jolt of talent up front.

With all due respect to Moss, who was one of the most physically talented players to ever don a Patriots uniform, he shouldn’t register on the team’s radar at this time. After all, when the team brought in a receiver in 2011, they chose Tiquan Underwood over Moss, who surely could have been coaxed out of retirement by the club. That speaks volumes about the team’s view of Moss as it relates to their current standing.

A rocky road, but Patriots made it work – The Boston Globe
Great season recap from Greg Bedard that really puts a nice bow on the 2011 season. We’re slowly turning the page as well, getting into draft prep, and feeling a little less depressed about the Super Bowl loss with every day that passes.
One thing I’m sure of is that no fan of any other team has had a more thrilling ride over the last decade than Patriots fans. We’ve won the big one a few times, and fallen incredibly short a few times, but overall we’ve won more games that anyone and I think we’ve had more fun too.
And the best part? We’ll be right back in the mix next year with what I’m already sure will be a more talented team than the one that fell just short this year. Doesn’t ensure that we’ll take that last step in 2012, but we’ll certainly be in the mix and as a fan that’s all you can ask for.
A little more than a week has passed since the New England Patriots lost Super Bowl 46. The feeling always persists that a loss by the Bill Belichick /Tom Brady tandem in a big game signifies an upset of major proportions. Much has been written and said about the negative impact the championship loss to the Giants will have on the respective legacies of the head coach and the quarterback. Let’s inject some reality into the discussion. It can easily be argued that Belichick did one of the best coaching jobs of his career this season. I broke down every game on tape, ending of course with the Super Bowl. It struck me as I finished reviewing all my notes that New England was not an overly talented team in 2011. What they achieved was remarkable given their overall deficiencies.
