The Ministry of PatsPropaganda has been discovered by Brett Lockett. Or has it…?

A source told me this morning that Gronkowski’s left ankle, which he injured on a 23-yard catch in the third quarter, won’t prevent him from participating in the game in Indianapolis in two weeks. The source with direct knowledge of Gronkowski’s condition said simply, “He’ll be ready to go.”
This is good news, but I can’t help but worry a little bit that his effectiveness could be limited. Though there’s just something about Gronk that makes you believe he could be a miraculous healer. Still, this will pretty much be the number one thing on my mind for the next two weeks until we see Gronk out there and how he’s moving.

It Is What It Is » ‘Now or never’ Brandon Spikes picks a real good time to come of age
What a game for Spikes. He played 52 of 73 snaps, and was ProFootballFocus’ second ranked Patriots defender behind Vince Wilfork. He had positive ratings in both run defense (his specialty) and pass coverage ( his supposed weakness).

AFC Championship Game Highest Rated In 18 Years – Deadline.com
I believe it. When you look back at all the Patriots playoff victories of the last decade it’s hard to come up with one other than the SB 36 and the ‘06 AFCDG vs. San Diego that was more dramatic. Maybe SB 38, but otherwise yesterday’s game versus the Ravens has to be in the top five most thrilling Patriots playoff games ever.
The New England Patriots are quickly righting every wrong that’s happened since they last hoisted the Lombardi Trophy and the Kill Bill-esque revenge tour now will conclude with a shot at the biggest offender of them all.
The Patriots already saw the Giants once this year, and the New England defense couldn’t stop a game-winning drive from Eli Manning that was eerily similar to Super Bowl 42. The Giants are a potent foe, and one who have had the Pats number since seeing 16-0 happen on their home field.
But my initial feeling is that the Patriots know what it takes to beat the Giants and they’ll look at this game feeling like true underdogs, despite whatever the point spread is.
Some quick hit thoughts as I slowly try to come to terms with the fact that we’re going back to the Super Bowl.
What a couple of weeks it will be. Looking forward to going back and taking another look at the game without heart palpitations. Go Pats!
