A Candid Interview With The Gronk (by Fitzy01821)

Bad tackling, defensive execution, and simply being physically outplayed in the trenches were all factors that led to Patriots’ 1st quarter woes against the Broncos in week 15. In fact, the bad tackling continued for both teams throughout much of the game, although the Patriots really cut down their struggles in this area after the first quarter which helped them significantly. Still, it looks like tackling, such a fundamental football concept, is going to be one of the major factors to watch in the Patriots-Broncos playoff rematch this Saturday.

Film Breakdown: Tebow’s Tendencies – Pats Pulpit/Rich Hill
Good stuff from Rich here. Should be sub-headed “Why Biting on Play Action Can Bite You in the Ass”.
The Patriots will have their hands full trying to limit the Broncos and their big plays as they’ve been at the bottom of the league in big plays of 20 yards allowed. In fact, the Patriots have allowed 89 plays of 20 yards this season, which is the most in (at least) the past 15 seasons. That averages out to 5.56 of those big plays every game- although only 5 touchdowns have come from those large plays. 5 plays of 20 yards was all Tebow needed to upend the Steelers; the Patriots had better take him seriously.
Mike Shanahan’s return to Broncos during 1989 season did not cause controversy – The Denver Post
This is all I’ll post about any controversy surrounding Josh McDaniels returning to the Patriots.
As bizarre as Josh McDaniels’ return to New England midplayoffs may appear to folks in Denver, there is precedent for such a move.
And that precedent was here in Denver.
Mike Shanahan was fired as the head coach of the Los Angeles Raiders after going 1-3 in the first four games in 1989. Less than two weeks later, on Oct. 16, 1989, Shanahan was back in Denver as the team’s quarterbacks coach.
This is what it was like to be inside Gillette after the Cundiff miss. Thanks to @Advil for sending! (Source: https://www.youtube.com/)
