To be honest I’m one Patriots fan who isn’t going to be harping the “now or never” drum on the Jets this season. I believe that a) they will take care of their best/youngest players and b) will continue to try and aggerssively stock the cupboards after they lose anyone. It’s pretty clear that Braylon and Santonio are competing to see who gets to stay. In reality the long term success of the Jets rides a lot more on Mark Sanchez than it does which free agents they re-sign or lose.
He’s got all the tools. He’s got the size. He looks the part. Even when he’s healthy, he plays the part. As long as he can stay healthy, he’s going to be a great impact for us.

And here’s a shot of his sirgically repaired knee. Yes this feels kinda awkward posting closeup of players body parts. But the last couple days have made me feel pretty good about Welkers return. Our prediction: Halloween against the Vikings.

Here’s Wes Welker at the Celtics game last night, and it’s been reported that he was running in place, dancing around, and generally looking like he was having an excellent time. I am dying to get video of him on the jumbotron. Please Hoodie, tell me somebody got it…
