It’s been quite then week for the Hoodie Database. Just when I think my signature stat is totally played out, Belichick goes and throws a huge curveball like he did last week against the Titans. I wrote all about here and dedicated an entire segment on Patshow to it.
The big takeaway? That Belichick busted out the old Reebok hoodie, the one that made him famous. Maybe it wasn’t the gray version we’re most familiar with but really, the gray did the heavy lifting through the Reebok Hoodie tenure, the Blue came around later so it makes sense it’s the one that was preserved and taken from the closet after six long seasons.
Now, with Belichick busting out old hoodies, it’s no wonder the Pats are the favorites to take home the Lombardi Trophy once again. You can bet on the Patriots to win Superbowl 2018 online at Betting-Super-Bowl.com but first they need to win the AFC Championship over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
So what should Belichick wear to get past the Jags? Let’s take a quick look back at the last six AFC Championships.
- 2011 – Gray Reebok Hoodie Cutoff
- 2012 – Gray 2012 Hoodie Cutoff (LOSS)
- 2013 – Blue Hot Jacket (LOSS)
- 2014 – Blue 2013 Hoodie
- 2015 – Blue Hot Jackey/Gray 2015 Hoodie (LOSS)
- 2016 – Blue 2016 Hoodie
With temps projected in the 40s/50s, it’s perfect hoodie record. Could Belichick bust then Blue Reebok out again? He’d need to cover up then Reebok logo, and if he’s really going to do that, let’s just find an old gray one for old time’s sake.
Hopefully it’s not warm enough to tempt him to wear the Hot Jacket, as the last two losses in then AFCCG featured him wearing it.
If he doesn’t go back to the Reebok and decides one bombshell was enough, I’m going back to my original prediction last week: the 2017 Gray Cut Hoodie. Throw in a pom winter hat and I think we’ll have a quality BB look for the AFCCG even if it’s not an epic bombshell like we got last week.

If he busts out an old gray Reebok hoodie, you’ll be able to see my Belichick boner from the space station.

I love this. as I have read this prediction for a while now my mind wanders back the days of Coke and Pepsi commercials. I can see little Mike hanging out at a gate somewhere at Gillet trying to get an autograph or meet someone and Bill coming out and having that “By chance” moment and Bill say’s”Hey kid” and tosses a hoddie back at him. But this NE, the land of degenerate gamblers and he turns it into a prop-bet in Vegas. LMAO, I LOVE NEW ENGLAND!!
