Not that anyone really cares but if by chance someone was missing my Patriots Psycho Blog I just wanted to put everyone’s minds at ease, I will return. Right now it’s the perfect storm of a personal vacation and the darkest depths of the NFL Void coinciding at once. So barring any hugely momentous Patriots news we’re going to be taking a short break from the blogosphere to get mentally right for the upcoming season. We’ve got some fun stuff planned, some new outlets, and our desire is solid as ever.
Until then, enjoy The Void if you can. Training camp is just a few short weeks away.

Even the coaches and GMs take a break, so there’s rarely any news (though the Pats did just lock up Gary Guyton for another two seasons today).
If you’re like me and you’re pulling your hair out as you slowly count down to the opening of training camp give me a helping hand.
For the past four seasons I’ve always treated myself to a new Patriots hat that becomes the hat that I wear for every game. This year I’m having a tough choice. I’ve got it narrowed down to two choices that I like, both bringing something different to the party. Here they are:

This video’s a little choppy but it shows why Wes Welker is one of the most fun players to watch in the NFL.

Sorry to abandon you fellow Patriots fans in these, the dark days of the NFL void. Happened upon this video today, don’t know where it’s from but Bruschi is certainly right.
