Some exciting news today to pass along to you all. A friend of the site, Niko de Jonge, is running a couple Survivor Pool contests through two of his websites for the upcoming season. The contests are completely free to enter and you can win cash prizes.
Which Surivivor Pool contest you are eligible to enter is broken down based on where you live. This is because one of the sites is focused solely on Canadians. But don’t worry if you’re not from Canada, the other contest actually has a bigger prize pool.
Canadians….
If you are a Canadian resident you are eligible to enter the Sports Betting Canadian 2016 NFL Survivor Pool Contest (click that link for all the details). The contest is exclusive to Canadian residents and they are giving out $600 in prizes with $200 being the top prize for surviving the longest and the top 14 finishers win a prize.
Americans and Abroad…
Those of you who do not live in Canada should enter the Survivor Pool Contest at SportsBetListings.com (click that link for all the details). This contest has $1000 in prizes to be won with top finisher taking down $500! And the top 17 take down some money so there’s a good chance of winning some free cash.
What Is A Survivor Pool?
Survivor pools are a ton of fun and if you haven’t participated in one before I strongly suggest you join whichever contest you’re eligible for above and experience the sweat.
It’s very simple to participate. You simply pick one team in the NFL to win their game each week (no spread involved). If your team wins you survive that week, and if your team loses you’re eliminated.
And if you don’t think you’ll remember to enter your pick each week, don’t worry. You can set your picks for the entire season if you want to on day one.
How To Enter
All the details for entering either Survivor Pool contest are outlined on the specified page that I linked to above.
If you’re Canadian, I’m told this will be an extra great value contest because there are not many entries at all yet. So if you’re a Canadian who is interested in betting on the NFL, or even just a fan, definitely take a peek at this contest.
Quick Tip
With the format being used in both of these contests you can only pick each team once throughout the season. So for those of you with the quick trigger fingers on the Patriots I’d suggest waiting until we have Brady back after week 4 to pull the trigger on the Pats.
