This is all I’ll post about any controversy surrounding Josh McDaniels returning to the Patriots.
As bizarre as Josh McDaniels’ return to New England midplayoffs may appear to folks in Denver, there is precedent for such a move.
And that precedent was here in Denver.
Mike Shanahan was fired as the head coach of the Los Angeles Raiders after going 1-3 in the first four games in 1989. Less than two weeks later, on Oct. 16, 1989, Shanahan was back in Denver as the team’s quarterbacks coach.
