Here’s a national take on Wallace being a good fit for the Pats. Personally I think it’s an expensive and risky move that I doubt BB is willing to pull the trigger on.
And we’ve been hearing about “the window closing” for about five years now. Maybe for Tom Brady it’s closing, but when you look at the youth and talent at other places on the roster, along with all the draft capital they have to work with, I think it’s pretty apparent the window isn’t closing on the Patriots any time soon.
I love Brady and hope he gets another one, but when he does hang them up the Patriots will have a prepared player to take over for him who will be surrounded by a veteran defense (by that point), and two monster offensive tackles and Gronk all in their prime.
