Revis and the Pats will get together this offseason to work on a new contract, and both sides want to continue their working relationship, according to sources.
Music to my ears. Obviously, a lot will unfold over the next few weeks, but when we turn the page to the offseason, Revis is priority one.

Just doesn’t get old. As the ball was in there I thought he’d overthrown him, but what a perfect pass.

“[Andy Gresh and I] have done this show for a long time, and we’ve talked about Gillette Stadium and the crowd, whether or not it’s electric or loud — that place rocked the other night, and it’s a credit to you people,” Zo said directly to the fans.
“You sucked it up. I don’t know how you people stayed warm, and I don’t know how you hung for the amount of time that you did. It’s a credit to you. That team reacted to the noise. I reacted to the noise. You were the 12th man the other night. People talk about Seattle and everything, but that was as loud as I’ve ever heard that stadium get.”

“Those two tackles were absolutely terrific in the second half,” said former top Jacksonville tackle Tony Boselli, who worked the sidelines for the Westwood One radio broadcast Saturday night. “You look at how impressive those rushers were for Baltimore all season, and then you see how Brady had time in the second half.” Dumervil had zero stats in the game: no tackles, no assisted tackles, no sacks. I had him for one pressure. Suggs: two tackles, a half-sack. Just a tremendous job by two veteran protectors.

A coach upstairs should have the power to say in the headset to Harbaugh, “Call a timeout! New England’s doing something we can’t identify!” Or something like that. But it’s not up to the referee to give the defense an unlimited amount of time. Seven seconds is enough for a defense to match up. In this case it was simply a great use of trickery by the Patriots, and the players weren’t giving much away in the locker room after the game. Asked about the formation, several replied vaguely, and with no details about what happened, or when it was practiced. Belichick has trained them well.

Good read to start off the week. I’m kinda torn, break down the Ravens game or lock in on the Colts? Will probably be a little of each, at least early this week.
Bill Belichick mic’d up for Jaguars vs. Patriots (Week 3) | Sound FX | NFL Films Great stuff, can never get enough of BB being miked up obvs. When Gus Bradley thanks him it’s somewhat how I imagine myself speaking to BB one day. An awkward, intimidated “no for reals, I love you man”. But it […]
