It’s bounce-back week! Tough loss last Sunday against the Broncos, but I think a fire has been lit underneath this franchise. Here’s your Game Day supplement for all of the latest news ahead of this afternoon’s Week 7 encounter against the San Francisco 49ers.
Check out my preview for today’s match up here.

The Patriots needed some good injury news, and they got some last night when the news that David Andrews was being activated to return from IR. With Shaq Mason also back in practice, the offensive line can start to re-stabilize and hopefully have some consistency back.
Tashawn Bower is the team’s regular PS elevation, Nick Thurman is the CV19 replacement, both will give the defensive front some support today.
Devin Ross who showed some flair in camp was released and the team brought back Mason Kinsey for PS receiver depth.

RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (Calf) – Limited today
Carl Davis will have to wait a little longer for his Patriots debut as he is officially ruled out with a concussion. There has been no news this morning to suggest any of the five questionable players will be unavailable.
The 49ers will be without four key players today, their two starting safeties are among those missing. Raheem Mostert is likely to end up on IR with an ankle sprain, so his absence here isn’t surprising, and Kwon Alexander completes the list as he wasn’t able to recover in time to participate.
Salary Cap Update
As always, here’s your weekly check-in from @patscap! The current cap number stands at $22,895,723 following yesterday’s roster moves.
Still no trade movement in or out for the Patriots, still plenty of time before the deadline on November 3, which is election day if you’re reading this article from the United States.
Fantasy Starts (PPR)
QB Cam Newton
Cam didn’t have a great game last Sunday, he’ll be itching to have a bounce-back game today. Now, the 49ers are missing both of their starting safeties, and the passing game may be a better opportunity for the Pats to move the chains. Unless you have a top 5 QB, I’d give Cam the start. Week 6 – 18.48 Week 7 projected points (NFL Fantasy) – 19.24– Average points – 22.49
RB Damien Harris
Harris had a down week against Denver, but don’t let that sway you from leaving him out of your lineup if you have problems at your RB position. Although the 49ers are usually a good bet against the run, their injury problems won’t help and I’d expect the Patriots to try and establish the run early. Pats to move the chains. Unless you have a top 5 QB, I’d give Cam the start. Week 6 – 4.30 Week 7 projected points (NFL Fantasy) – 9.40– Average points – 7.15
WR N’Keal Harry
With Edelman having a few down games, I think it’s time to start a wildcard in the flex position. Harry hasn’t had any storming weeks, that’s fact. But, I think he’s due a breakout game with 5/6 catches and a touchdown, and today good be that day. Don’t forgo a more competent points scorer than him, but might be worth a shot. Week 6 – 0.00 Week 7 projected points (NFL Fantasy) – 8.68– Average points – 7.76
