Another day in the books for the 2022 Patriots Training Camp. Some real positive things to feel good about this week, with another session tomorrow before a break on Sunday. Let’s take a look at today’s Tweets Of Note!
Another stunning day in Foxborough for Day 3, the team has certainly had the weather on it’s side so far.
David Andrews made it back on the field for the first time this preseason, having been included on the PUP list to begin camp. There was never any real concern over Andrew’s condition, but it sure is great to have one of the team leaders back on the field.
Everybody loves Mac Jones.
This is something to keep an eye on, Hoyer was absent today after not taking any reps yesterday, a good opportunity for Bailey Zappe to gain some extra reps.
Evan Lazar notes the gradual progression into full pads, but today, shells and helmets.
A day to forget for Kyle Dugger who gave up multiple touchdowns, but encouraging for the Mac/Jonnu connection which was on show today. Alex Barth notes one of the best plays of the day which fired up the crowd.
Tyquan Thornton in his gunner role on the punt team should be a fun watch, not that he needs any extra security for a roster spot, but watching him on special teams should be a treat.
Questions still linger about who’s calling plays on offense, but Bill being Bill, he took over today and called plays himself at the end of practice. My gut feeling is that it’ll be Matt Patricia coordinating the offense as we head down the stretch to Week 1.
More encouraging reports about Josh Bledsoe, who had another strong day, getting reps with the first team defense.
Fitzy’s fun-themed notes are something to feel good about, lot’s of positives so far through Day 3 of Training Camp!
Day 4 tomorrow for a lively Saturday crowd! LFG
