One of the best sports moments of 2013! Kenbrell Thompkins game winning TD against the Saints!
Hard not to welcome this guy back with open arms.

A big part of football is seizing opportunity and second-year receiver Kenbrell Thompkins is doing just that. He’s taking repetitions that likely would have been Aaron Dobson’s and making plays that catch the eye.

Nice read as always from Oliver Thomas. These two guys should have one of the more intriguing training camp battles. I’d expect Brandon LaFell to be in the mix as well.
Patriots Pre-Training Camp Player Spotlight: WR Kenbrell Thompkins :Ian’s New England Patriots Blog
Good read from Ian Logue on Kenbrell Thompkins. I know some of you don’t really want to hear about Thompkins tearing it up this summer again in OTAs and Training Camp, you want to see him tear it up when the bullets are real. Understandable, but there’s something to be said that Thompkins is continuing to flash potential.
The superstar of the summer, at least from this view, has been Kenbrell Tompkins. The wide receiver continued a strong run of practices Wednesday by beating Brandon Browner twice on the left sideline, then again in the end zone on a beautiful fade from Tom Brady. He then caught a back-shoulder pass down the right sideline. If anyone has benefitted from Aaron Dobson and Brandon LaFell being limited this summer, it’s certainly Thompkins.

Thompkins was the talk of camp last year and he certainly made some good plays early last season, peaking with the game-winning touchdown catch against the Saints. But he faded down the stretch whether it was due to injuries or defenses starting to catch on to him. It was crazy to see an undrafted rookie come out and see significant snaps as the Pats X-receiver and now with a full year under his belt, it seems that Thompkins is thinking less and playing faster.
Was impressed by his ability to get off the line of scrimmage last year, but he left his feet a lot when making catches and also had a lot of drops. As he gets more comfortable I think we’ll see less of those kind of bad plays.
Dobson better be ready to bring it once his foot is healed.
Supercool fan art of Kenbrell Thompkin’s reaction to his game-winning TD catch vs Saints this season. Would love to see more of this from KT Da WInner soon, and often.

Wes Welker’s reduced role part of evolving offense – ESPN Boston Mike Reiss hops on the “What’s up with Wes” train and sums it up: Welker simply is no longer the focal point of the attack, likely because of a combination of merit and an evolving offense.
