Slow morning as we wait to get the final preseason game over with, so let’s take some questions.
Some guys I’ll be watching tonight:
Jermaine Cunningham – still think it due to DE/DT depth being so thin, but he definitely needs to show up tonight to secure his spot.
Bequette/Buchanan – right now I think both are headed to the practice squad, with Buchanan being slightly ahead. A big game tonight out of either of them could go a long way.
Brandon Bolden – I’m still on the Bolden bandwagon, he should get plenty of carries tonight.
Forston/Vellano – Forston probably makes it by default but it’d be nice to see something to get excited about. I like Vellano but I don’t think he’s ready yet.
Rookie WRs – must keep progressing.
Logan Ryan – big night for Ryan, as it looks like he’ll be the nickel corner right off the bat next weekend.
Most of all is just no injuries!
What are you guys looking for/thinking about/worried about?
We’ve got another new shirt in the works for the Prop Shop, will be coming out in the next couple weeks. In the meantime check out our current selection, including the original DO YOUR JOB!

I realize I’m no Peter King, but I’ve got about 10 Pats things to share so I’m stealing his format. It won’t be the first time, nor will it be the last.
I’ve been picking the nuggets that ring truest to me so far today, now it’s time to weigh in with a big picture follow-up.
Let’s start on the offensive side of the ball.
I’ve been saying it all summer, this offense shows promise, but there are going to moments of inconsistency. Granted, last night was an ENTIRE GAME of inconsistency, but I still expect things like Sudfeld’s fumble, Thompkins 3rd-and-2 drop, and Dobson having trouble fighting through traffic to happen at various times throughout September and October.
The key for the offense will be to build on these moments and not let them continue into the winter months. For that reason, it is a positive to get a bunch of them out of the way now in the preseason.
This was an excellent lesson for this young offense on the road against a team that clearly came to play (as the Patriots should’ve expected). This will be a positive learning experience, but only if they can clean it up.
On defense, I like the resiliency they showed last night as a unit. They were definitely exposed yet again in the middle of the field and that is a little troubling.
Tommy Kelly is clearly going to make an impact this year and I am more excited about him that any other new player. Plug Wilfork back in, draw up an actual game plan, and this defense should be better, but they still had some of the same problems as last year.
Still, plenty to build on here.
I’ll be live blogging today’s game, and we would be honored… if you would join us.
PatsPropaganda & Frenz Podcast Today 11am EST: Pats-Lions Preview
Join Frenz and I this morning as we preview tonight’s game and discuss what we’ve seen from the Pats since last week’s contest against the Bucs.
After one of the worst two-week stretches of the Patriots dynasty, playoff losing ones not included, the Patriots return home to cap off the final two games of their season, first against the 5-9 Bills. Strangely, this is very much a must-win game for the Pats. They need to win out and hope that Houston […]
