The first injury report of the week was published today, an indication at who may miss out on Sunday’s game against the Raiders.
New England Patriots
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
C David Andrews (Hand)
RB James White (Not injury related)
LIMITED
DL Adam Butler (Shoulder)
LB Brandon Copeland (Knee)
WR Julian Edelman (Knee)
WR N’Keal Harry (Ankle)
Andrews is the main concern out of today’s report, nothing has been reported on the extent of the injury, but for him to miss a session, it can’t be good. Be prepared to see some movement across the offensive line on Sunday if Andrews doesn’t make a quick recovery. James White is understandably still absent following the tragic death of his father on Sunday.
The limited players were also questionable prior to the Seattle game, barring no aggravations, there shouldn’t be much cause for concern, I will monitor during the week.
Las Vegas Raiders
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
OL Trent Brown (Calf)
OL Denzelle Good (Thumb/Illness)
OL Richie Incognito (Achilles)
RB Josh Jacobs (Hip)
LB Nick Kwiatkoski (Pectoral)
DE Carl Nassib (Illness)
TE Darren Waller (Knee)
LIMITED
WR Bryan Edwards (Foot)
OL Sam Young (Groin)
FULL PARTICIPATION
S Johnathan Abram (Shoulder)
CB Damon Arnette (Wrist/Thumb)
LB Corey Littleton (Shoulder)
WR Hunter Renfrow (Ankle)
WR Henry Ruggs III (Knee)
OL John Simpson (Shoulder)
A rough start injury-wise for the Raiders, firstly, OL Richie Incognito is being placed on IR today, meaning he’ll miss Sunday’s game. A big blow for the Raiders offensive front, they were also missing former Patriot Trent Brown and Denzelle Good from practice.
Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs, the two players I felt the Pats needed to stop the most this Sunday to have a good chance of winning were also both absent, along with defensive standout Carl Nassib. Vegas will be hoping the DNP list shrinks substantially by tomorrow, we’ll find out then.
